Welcome to our Guesthouse
We welcome our guests from 4 pm on the day of arrival, and we prefer to greet everyone in person. Upon check-in, we are happy to show you around the guesthouse and your room. We can also recommend nearby places of interest, scenic spots, and local restaurants.
The Guesthouse
On the ground floor, guests have access to:
-
a shared kitchen
-
bathroom with shower for East End
-
Another bathroom with shower for the rooms on the second floor
-
the family room East End, suitable for up to four guests
On the second floor, we offer three double rooms, each named after the surrounding views:
Mýrdalsjökull, Reynisfjall, and Dyrhólaey.
There is also a shared WC on this floor.
Our kitchen is well-equipped for breakfast preparation and light cooking.
The Farm and Animals
Our small farm is home to a few sheep, horses, goats, three dogs and three cats.
During winter, the sheep stay in the sheep house, and some of the horses are in the stable. Guests are welcome to join us for morning or evening feeding, a lovely experience for both adults and children.
In summer, the animals roam freely in the fields or mountains.
Our friendly dogs love to meet guests — please let us know beforehand if you would prefer them to be kept away.
